Day 3 - What a day we have had, we started off in Bamburgh Castle exploring its history and admiring the views from the top of the castle. We then went on to explore the village of Bamburgh where we completed an orienteering course finding key points around the village. The church in the village has a shrine to St Aiden where we paid our respects. Before heading to the sand bowl for some fun we stopped off and enjoyed an ice cream which was super tasty! After an exhausting day we finished the night off with a game of Bingo which was a tense situation as many of us were close.

Day 4 - Well today has been one of our best days here! We set off to explore Lindisfarne where Cuthbert began his journey before the Vikings invaded. Walking in the very footsteps of where the Vikings and Saxons once stood sent shivers down our spines. After studying the local history, we then went to explore the rock pools for different creatures where we came across crabs, snails and starfish. After arriving back to our hotel to pack we finished our last night with a bang with our Year 5 talent show and let's just say there wasn't a dry in the room we have some very talented children. You completely broke Mrs Wilby.
