🎉📚 Exciting Week Ahead at Maltby Manor! 📚🎉
We’re thrilled to launch our Literacy Festival which is taking place 23rd September 2024 - 27th September 2024, filled with fantastic opportunities for your children:
🔹 Annual Speaking Competition – Building confidence and communication skills! 🎤
🔹 Y5 Workshops at Maltby Academy – A unique chance for our Year 5s to experience hands-on learning at a partner school! 📝
🔹 Author Visits – Wrapping up the week with a special visit from Paul Cookson and Liz Million! 📖
All children from Year 1 to Year 6 will meet and take part in an assembly or workshop with both authors and will have the opportunity to purchase their books.
Liz Million's books are priced at £6.00 and Paul Cookson's books will range in price up to £5.00.
If your child would like to purchase any books, they are only available on Friday 27 September and we ask that you send your child to school with cash in an envelope and they will purchase the books directly from the authors.
At Maltby Manor, we’re dedicated to offering exciting learning experiences and inspiring opportunities for all our students to grow and thrive! 🌟

The children in Year 3 had a workshop from With me in Mind. They read the colour monster and sorted some pictures of emotions. The children then thought about how they were feeling and coloured in one of the colour monsters.
